High-speed tape wrapping for wire and cable insulation lines
The JP-WM Series is a high-speed tape wrapping machine designed for uniform insulation wrapping in wire and cable manufacturing. A rotating spindle carries the tape bobbin around the cable at controlled tension, laying each wrap with a consistent overlap — critical for uniform dielectric strength and mechanical protection.
Three models cover the full range of production requirements. The JP-WM 300 is a compact, single-head unit suited for small-diameter cables and batch production. The JP-WM 600 offers dual-head capability for increased throughput and material changeover without stopping the line. The JP-WM 1200 is the high-speed production model, fitted with a servo-controlled variable-frequency drive and motorised tension control for demanding, high-volume cable insulation lines. All three models share the same frame platform and accept the same tape bobbin format — simplifying spare parts and operator training across a multi-machine facility.
