Reliable hot melt flap sealing for wire box production lines
The JP-BPM is a conveyor-type box pasting machine designed specifically for sealing the side flaps of house wire packaging boxes using hot melt adhesive. Hot melt adhesive in granule form is loaded into an open-top tank, where a horizontal applicator stick — driven by two pneumatic cylinders, one on each side — dips down into the molten adhesive and returns upward to apply a precise adhesive bead onto each box flap as it passes along the conveyor belt.
The result is a clean, consistent seal at production rates up to 1,200 boxes per hour — with no manual application, no mess, and minimal downtime. Powered by a compact 0.5 HP motor and gearbox, the JP-BPM is energy-efficient and easy to maintain. The open tank design allows quick adhesive top-up without stopping the machine, making it ideal for high-volume packaging lines.
